Good Morning All!!!

 

Yesterday, I was confused on weather I should keep ducks indoors and outdoors. After reading the suggestions from other duck specialists (I am referring to my previous post here), I thought I would better house them outside. I need some help for this.

 

Anyone know how to make a duck coop? I saw many videos on different types of coops made that finally I got confused and gave up on videos. Can someone suggest how can I make duck coops in a simple, cost-effective way.? We do have a pool, so that is not going to be a problem. Ducks would have water in plenty to swim and play around.

they sell ready made coops ranging from 100 bucks up to 1000's..it depends on how big you want it.  If you say you have a pool for them to swim in, i will assume you just want to pen them up at night and they free roam in the day?  if that's the case a small coop such as a rabbit would stay in would suffice, but you have to make sure to keep them from predators.  the coops you buy are assembly required..so you would have to put it together yourself..unless it's small of course.  look up plans on the internet, they will tell you exactly what to buy for that type of coop and exactly how to build it.
