well..i have to make myself not candle them because i like to see them grow.  I normally candle them on day 5 to 7 to make sure they're fertile and growing..i see the veins..then i candle them after about a week, or 5 days..make sure they're still growing..basically every 4 or 5 days..when i add water to the bator i candle them so i know if they're alive or not.  Then after day 25 you put the eggs on lockdown..up the humidity..and DON'T open the bator..gotta keep the humidity up so the little guys can hatch..i candle them on day 25..to make sure they're all still viable..usually at this point..you'll see the internal pip (the beak will be in the air sak..and you'll even hear them peep)  Then once you know on day 25 that everyone is good..shut it and wait patiently.
