Its me again with yet another question.... I happened to read this in a webiste, but couldn't find more about this there - One very important thing is to make sure you provide niacin.

 

I was wondering why niacin should be given? Should both baby ducks and older ducks be given that? If yes, dosage, how and when?

Only ducklings usually need niacin..you can tell if they have a niacin deficiency if you notice weak legs.  I personally use chick starter and have never had a problem.  You can sprinkle brewers yeast on their food and this will take care of the niacin..adult ducks don't need it so much because they eat and forage and get it from the bugs and suck that they eat.  also give ducklings of a week or two some meal worms..
