Due to my wife's medical issues, I'm forced to sell my flock of ostriches.  These are blue/black crosses.  It is comprised of both breeders and yearlings which will be ready to breed towards the end of this season.  I have 8 chicks and a last batch in the incubator.  There are 47 live birds total at this time.  My asking price is $70,000. 

The sale includes the ostriches and my Hatchrite incubator.  The incubator was found brand new still in its shipping crate in a holding facility in Kansas last year.  It has a 120 egg capacity.  We also have a deal with a broker who will purchase all of the chicks we can put on the ground at 150.00 - 200.00 per chick, depending on age.  These can be moved at less than 90 days of age.

The flock will have a production capacity next year of 1700 - 2000 eggs.  I get an average of 85% hatch rate on fertile eggs.  My fertile egg rate is 94% this year.  This is a turn key deal for the right farmer capable of easily producing over 100k next year net after feed and care expenses.

The sale also includes my mentorship for the first year.  Anything you are having a problem with, I've probably already faced, and know exactly what to do to fix it.
