Guys, I need some advice about logistics from Luton. We’re arriving late in the evening, and there are four of us adults, each with a large suitcase, because after London we’re planning a long trip around the UK. Last time we naively took a National Express bus, and it was a nightmare: first we waited in the cold for 40 minutes, and then we could barely squeeze our bags into the luggage compartment, which was already full. Public transport with transfers after a flight is a questionable experience, especially when you need to get to a specific area, not just Victoria. Is it possible to find a car with a fixed price where the driver will actually help with all those bags, so you don’t have to pay extra for every kilogram?

And has anyone checked if it’s really possible to book a minivan with Wi-Fi, because we’ll need to book our next tickets on the way, and roaming isn’t really an option?

Luton's a specific airport, and even the rail shuttle there doesn't always help if you've got a lot of luggage. I usually steer clear of buses 'cause after an hour on the road, schlepping your bags to the hotel isn't exactly the best way to start your trip. A normal taxi on the spot can cost about £90, and it's not even certain that all of you will fit into one car. I'd say the best thing to do is to book a transfer Luton Airport to London ahead of time through the GetTransfer service. There you can choose the number of bags and pick a roomy minivan right away. And for internet, a lot of drivers actually have Wi-Fi – just let them know in the booking notes. So, like, which part of London are you thinking of checking out?
