I was wondering if this time of the year (March) is good to ship peacocks ... I was planning to get some peafowl like black shoulder peafowl pair, indian blue peafowl pair, white peafowl pair from NY and need to get them shipped to my place. But since the male has long tails, does it have to be clipped? I just am not sure. Any idea?

Yeah, we have to clip the tail to ship peacock. I would say the best time to buy them is in the fall when the feathers are already shed.
